Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, Stéphane Durand boasts over 30 years of experience in the field of tourism development both in France and internationally. His career began at Danone, after which he transitioned to consultancy with Détente in 1989. He quickly rose to the position of Associate Director, simultaneously overseeing various activities including site management, project development, and international consulting.
In 2006, he founded Horwath HTL France, where he served as Managing Director for 15 years, driving the firm's growth and reputation in the tourism sector. In 2020, Horwath HTL France was rebranded as Voltere (by Egis), where Stéphane Durand continues to lead the Tourism Division as a partner, leveraging his extensive expertise to guide strategic initiatives and development projects.
In addition, Stéphane frequently collaborates with Calice Hospitality on specialized wine tourism and cultural projects, bringing his vast knowledge and strategic insight to these unique assignments.
